Small rubber brayer or roller ... Black, 2 1/4" or 54mm wide by Ranger. For mixed media, printing and gel press printing --- in Tim Holtz's signature Distress colour and style.
Tim Holtz brayers are a soft flexible rubber roller. Brayers, also called rollers, are great for picking up paint to roll onto a surface, smoothing onto a gel plate, applying paint onto a stamp, lino cut, texture plate and much more.
Great for all kinds of techniques and artists including stampers, visual artists and printers. A rubber brayer is a very useful tool to have in the studio.
Ideal for use with any gel printing plate (including those made by Ranger, Gel Press and Gelli Arts, all sold separately of course), stamping, abstract art, monoprinting or lino printing and with Minc Ink for heat foiling techniques.
For a permanent customised repeating pattern, carve into the rubber or add rubber bands, string, lace, bubblewrap or openweave fabric like hessian (burlap) to create textured backgrounds. Be creative and have fun!
The Tim Holtz Brayer has black soft flexible rubber, hanging tab, and a footed stand reduces roller dent (keeping the rubber rounded) and also keeps your work area clean. Cleanup is easy - depending what you've used you can use soap and water or the Master's Hand Soap (also available, sold separately). To clean off Minc Ink, use Minc Ink Cleaner or roll the brayer onto strong tape which helps peel off the toner ink.
Size (approx) : small black roller is 2 1/4" (54mm) wide.
