Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat ... a large tempered glass craft surface.
Measuring 14"x 23" with a beautiful stylish black finish, the Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat is a fantastic multi-functional tool for creating on your workspace. This fabulous surface has been called a game-changer in the craft community.
Tim's Glass Mat includes a section that is white, perfect for mixing and blending colours. It also includes a removable mat (same size as the white area), giving you 3 different areas to use for creating.
A glass surface such as this makes creating blends, marbles and washes easier too, as its so smooth the paper slides across the puddles of ink without resistance.
It has little silicon feet in practical places that don't get in the way and keep your mat stable. This mat doesn't slide over your table, it stays put where you need it. The feet lift the mat off the table a fraction, stopping anything from sliding onto your mat and getting inked accidentally... its like an island on your craft table :)
The glass itself is very strong and durable. Its made of tempered glass that has been heat treated to be safer and stronger than regular glass.
The 12"x14" measuring grid features imperial and metric measurements, and the white 7.5"x11" mixing palette area is ideal for (but not limited to) preparation of mediums (eg, mixing texture pastes with mica powders) and mixing paint colours.
