What's On in the Studio - Art Workshops and Lessons

Art and craft workshops for learning techniques, discovering how to use your supplies, creating for the heart and soul (therapy) or just for fun!
No experience needed. No drawing or painting skills required.
Everyone is welcome.

Discover a new technique, try new products or create a project during an afternoon of art and craft during a fun, relaxing and informative workshop.

Small friendly, welcoming groups - maximum of 4 students per class. You have 2 teachers to choose from - June, who teaches realistic artwork, Jenny who teaches mixed media, cardmaking and other crafts.

Weeks aren't planned out in advance, all workshops and classes are personalised to suit you and your needs - at a time that suits us all (Tuesday to Saturday).

"Something on Saturday" Art Workshops with Jenny

So many techniques and styles to choose from ...
Techniques include mixed media or collage artwork, watercolour painting, acrylic painting, Folk Art techniques (traditional, modern, flowers and teddies, Australian fauna and flora), gel plate printing, mono printing, stamp and stencil making, colouring with watercolours, cardmaking, papercrafts and paper flower making, using markers (Copics or Chameleons), getting the most out of your pencils (blending, layering, shading to look 3D), drawing and sketching, journaling and many other art and craft techniques.

I was about to list a favourite style, but its just rehashing that whole paragraph again! I love it all :)

While still called 'Something on Saturday', workshops are now available from Tuesday to Saturday, at a time to suit us both.

Its just called "Something on Saturday" because art workshops used to only be available on Saturdays... now I'm more flexible but I love the name so its stuck.

Phone to chat with June or organise a day to meet her, see samples of her gorgeous paintings and discuss your learning needs.
