High quality gesso for arts and crafts, including mixed media, collage, sculpture and painting.
Has a light texture and provides a light tooth to slick, glossy and non-workable surfaces. Dries clear. Apply with a brush, palette knife, spatula or silicone tool. Air dries quickly or speed dry with a heat tool.
Works well as both a primer and sealer on most surfaces including canvas, wood, paper, metal, chipboard, stone, glass, fabric and plastic.
Being transparent / clear, it allows the surface colour to remain intact, giving you the flexibility to use it in your art - rather than cover it entirely with another colour.
Dries to a non-yellowing, clear matte layer. Gesso is water-based, but permanent and flexible after drying. Able to be mixed with pigments and acrylic paints to create a range of customised, coloured grounds.
