Gansai Tambi Watercolour Paints ... Set of 48 Colours - by Kuretake.

These are high quality, traditional Japanese paints for artists and crafters of all abilities including professional and beginners.

Perfect for adding colour to all your artwork, drawings and stamps including techniques using gouache, water colour painting, calligraphy, hand lettering, colouring stamps, sketching, illustrations, sumi-e and other visual arts masterpieces!

Keep a higher brilliance (especially of the brighter colours) by using original colours instead of mixing other colours to create a similar hue. Sometimes it can be tricky and time consuming to find the correct tonal mix to make the colour you need.

The pans of solid paints are richly pigmented and mix beautifully. These are fast dissolving paints that only need water to activate.

The 48 colours are...
White, Natural Beige, Rose Beige, Lilac, Cherry Blossom, Black, Gray, Cadmium Red, Cadmium Scarlet, Red, Cadmium Orange, Rose Madder, Carmine, Rose Madder Deep, Purple, Imperial Violet, Cobalt Violet, Lemon Yellow, Aureolin, Cadmium Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Raw Umber Deep, Greenish Yellow, Malachite, Sap Green Light, Hooker's Green, Sap Green, Olive Green, Viridian, Forest Green, Turquoise Green Deep, Sap Green Deep, Lime Green, Cobalt Blue, Ultramarine Pale, Turquoise Blue, Cerulean Blue, Ultramarine, Prussian Blue, Indigo, Blue Gray Deep, Horizon Blue, Indian Red, Maroon. Plus 3 metallics : Gold, Bluish Gold, White Gold.

Each rectangle dish is approx 1 3/4" x 1" and 3/8" deep.
The pans are also able to be taken out of the packaged set easily and used on their own.
Packaging (approx) : 9 5/8" x 11 11/16".
The handy storage box has a black base and an apple green lid with a colour chart and clear overlay. It includes a colour chart on the lid.

The materials used to produce this watercolor are non-toxic. No toxic heavy metals were used in production and safety was made a priority. This paint is kind to both the human body and the environment, so is safe to use.
