A Textured Impressions 3D Embossing Folder is a tool used in papercraft and mixed media for adding dimension to card, papers, metallic foils, vellum and some textiles. It is made of durable plastic, hinged at the short end (generally referred to as "top").
To use, simply place your paper, foil or card in between the hinged plastic and run through your favourite embossing and die cutting machine. The substrate will be pressed into shape, giving a raised dimensional effect.

Sizzix says...
For bolder results, mist a very fine spray of water onto both sides of the paper or card before use and pass the folder through your machine one to three times and let dry. This will help make the design deeper and more permanent. It needs to be thoroughly dry before applying or distressing with ink.
