Add these fabulous and versatile shapes inspired by Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland adventurous stories to your next project. This stencil features a chess board with little icons (cut off or leave in, up to you), a banner with the word 'tournament' in uppercase', the words 'check mate' in uppercase with a crown, the word 'Queen' in a script with swishes and a little crown, and two styles of chess pieces (pawn, castle, bishop, horse/knight, queen, king).

Sizes (approx) : The chess board is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4", tournament banner is 3" x 3/4" high, the horse (knight) is 2 1/4" tall.

The stencil itself is a fine-grade (thin) grey translucent (cloudy grey) plastic with rounded corners and various cut out designs (shown as white in the photo). It is 20cm x 25cm (approx 8"x10") in size with a small hanger on the top edge (for storage).

Stencils are fantastic versatile sheets of fine grade plastic with designs cut out to use to create patterns in art. They are easy to use, simply use a blending tool, spatula, paint brush, sponge or stencil brush to apply your paint, texture pastes, mediums, gesso or ink through the stencil onto your surface. Lift the stencil or mask carefully to reveal your creation. Perfect for layering. Make sure each layer is dry before continuing onto the next.

Care instructions : If you like clean stencils, wash the stencil with soap and water before the paints and mediums dry.
