This beautiful sheet of printed rice paper features 6 (six) square illustrations of Alice being Alice, being curious about the world around her. She is daydreaming about being lost, tall tails (or tales) and peering around curtains to small doorways.
On this A4 sheet are 6 (six) squares, each 3 5/8" x 3 5/8" (92mm x 92mm) in a variety of colour ways. Stamperia's papercraft collection is inspired by the book, Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
Cut apart, tear into strips or use as a whole sheet, this finely pressed paper is perfect for all kinds of art making - mixed media and collage, watercolours, acrylics, painting, drawing, stamping, scrapbooking, layering onto models, cardmaking, journaling, paper mache, decoupage, home decor, mounting behind photos, and other visual arts.
To achieve those soft feathery edges, simply use a wet brush and paint water along where you'd like to tear the paper. Wait a moment for the water to soak in, then tear gently. Most papers have a grain which makes tearing one direction easier than the other. Some papers also have fine threads added into the paper pulp mix. - create art your way, however it makes you smile!
For adhering to your journal pages (or other artwork), use a wet glue or matte medium gel if you wish to create an illusion of the white paper disappearing into the background. The results will vary but its always fun to try :)
