Embossing Diffusers ... by Tim Holtz and Sizzix (no.657945). 6 (six) templates for creating embossed patterns in selected areas, round and oval. 3 sizes, 1 inner and 1 outer for each.
Use an Embossing Diffuser to create an embossed design on selected areas - circles and ovals - or on selected frames of a shape (so the inside circle or oval is smooth, not embossed).
Use with Sizzix Texture Fades, Textured Impressions and other embossing folders with your favourite die cutting and embossing machine. Basic instructions on the back of the pack will help guide your way.
FYI, an Embossing Folder is a tool used in papercraft and mixed media for adding dimension to card, papers, metallic foils, vellum and some textiles. It is made of durable plastic, hinged at the short end (generally referred to as "top").
To use, simply place your paper in between the hinged plastic, place on top of the chosen Embossing Diffuser and run through your machine. The paper will be pressed into shape, giving a raised dimensional effect only in the area of the Embossing Diffuser. For example, using a circle diffuser will give you a round embossed area, using the frame of the circle will give you a plain round are within an embossed frame.
Overall size of the Diffuser Plates are (approx) 4 1/2" x 6". Circle and oval sizes vary.
Designed by Tim Holtz and manufactured by Sizzix.
