Halloween Trinket Tins by Tim Holtz ... two metal vintage styled tin containers.
Both of these tins are inspired by antique medicine labels... the black tin has "strychnine" on the lid and the grey tin has "arsenic" on the lid.
Of course there are no dangerous poisons in the tins at all, its just decoration! I find it incredible that people used to use these things as medicine a long time ago... thank goodness times have changed - they're perfect for storing halloween trinkets or lollies :)
Designed by Tim Holtz, this pair of metal tins have hinged lids that seal well, keeping all sorts of items together. Store embellishments, ephermera, drawing pins, jewellery findings, clock pieces, stickers, brads, hardware and much more.
Pack of 2 (two) metal hinged tins (empty).
Each tin measures 10cm x 6.5cm, x 3cm deep (4" x 2.5", x 1.25" deep).
Imagine an altered box as a giftbox...
Alter these tins to make unique personalised gifts! Alter the lid with paper, paint, inks, Idea-Ology findings, die cut shapes, 3D elements, fabrics, clay, papermache and more. You could sculpture an underwater world, a fairy garden, basement for a village dwelling, a snowglobe or wintery snowy scene - then fill the tin with small treasures, stationery items or chocolates! What will you make?
