Tim Holtz branded Dura-Bright Black (by Grafix) is a versatile surface suited for permanent inks and mixed media techniques. Dura-Bright Black is an opaque film with a 110lb cover weight (0.10 inch) that is heat tolerant, is packed in convenient 5x7 inch sheets.
Different to acetate and plastic, Dura-Bright is ideal for use with Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks, Alcohol Pearls, Alloys and Mixatives, alcohol markers (eg, Copics) as well as Distress Paints, Acrylic Paints, StazOn Ink, Sharpie Creative Markers (paint pens), texture pastes, and any other paints or mediums that will dry on non-porous surfaces.
Dura-Bright (similar to Dura-Lar which is clear) has the advantage of being non-absorbent enabling paints, inks and dies stay on top of its surface (rather than soaking in) producing brilliant vibrant effects.
This durable substrate is perfect for a wide application of arts and crafts projects including cardmaking, scrapbooking, mixed media, small artwork for walls, bookmaking, journaling, making pockets, cards, tags, general crafting for fun.
