Sizzix (also called Ellison Education) are a company who works with Tim Holtz and other designers to create an amazing collection of die cutting and embossing designs.

Sizzix manufacture products and tools that cut out, add dimension, emboss texture to visual arts projects, easily and quickly using high quality Die Cutting Templates, Tools, Accessories, Machines, Embossing Folders and more. Some names of die cutting templates are Thinlits, Framelits, Impresslits, Bigz ... Thinlits cut out one sheet of paper or thin card at a time, while Bigz dies are thick steel rule templates that will cut almost anything including acetate, vellum, paper, cardstock, fabrics, felts, canvas and thin magnetic sheeting (the soft fridge magnet kind).

Mix and match all the designs to create pieces to add to all kinds of visual arts mixed media projects including cardmaking, journaling, scrapbooking, quilting, embroidery, applique and home decor.

The NEW Big Shot Switch Machines - due hopefully November 2021 (watch this space, we've been excitedly waiting since Jan 2020!). Sizzix and Tim's vintage suitcase styled electronic machine called Vagabond 2, the one we see him use everywhere he goes is being retired to make way for the brand new Big Shot Switch Plus machine. Its an electronic machine that's easy to use, has pressure sensitive rollers and handy storage space. It will work with Thinlits, Bigz steel dies, Embossing Folders (and everything else we use a Big Shot or Vagabond for). From what I've been told, its a wider workspace than the Big Shot, more like the Plus machine. Ideal for quilting, bookmaking, mixed media and more. Will be worth the wait :)
The new Switch Machine is going to be available in both white and black, both with an Australian plug. Price might be between $470-520, depending on Sizzix rrp, shipping to Oz and currency coversion.

Re Tim's "Vagabond 2s" ... There may be a few available if you'd like one but be aware that Sizzix states shipping outside of the USA voids its warranty. If anything goes wrong with it, none of us are covered. Contact Sizzix or myself for details.
