Sizzix Surfacez - Printable Shrink Plastic - A4 - 10 Sheets

Shrink Plastic, Printable - by Sizzix as part of the Surfacez range. White translucent (cloudy clear) sheets of heat shrinking plastic, compatible with bubblejet or inkjet printer. 10 (ten) sheets, each A4 or 8 1/4" x 11 3/4" in size.

Translucent (clear, cloudy white) sheets of shrink plastic that are printable using an inkjet or bubblejet home printer to create a wide range of embellishments or gifts.

Each sheet has a super sanded side for printing, as well as drawing, stamping, colouring with inks, stains, pencils, watercolours, markers. The shiny glossy side is the back.

Shrink Plastic can be used with all Sizzix Thinlits, Framelits and Bigz Steel Dies and compatible with all Sizzix machines. It shrinks up to 40% of the original size using an oven or a heat tool. Instructions are on the Sizzix YouTube channel.

The pack says compatible with a laser printer, however shrink plastic works with heat and laser printers are hot! Check with Sizzix before use if you have a laser printer.

To use ... print, stamp or draw on the sandy surface and once dry, cut out your shape (scissors, craft knife, die cutting machine).
... Hold it down gently onto a heatproof and resistant surface using something long that doesn't get hot (long tweezers, spatula, end of a paint brush, skewer).
... Using caution, carefully heat the piece with a Heat Tool until it stops shrinking. This takes anywhere between a minute and 2-3 minutes.
... Alternatively, preheat an electric oven to 300-350F or 150-163C, place your piece on a baking tray, and put in the oven for a few minutes (a heat tool is easier and more energy efficient).
... When cooled (only takes a minute) , pick it up and admire your work.
... Punch any holes for tags or trinkets before you shrink the shape.
