This pack of metal keys and locks are finished in an antique style pewter colour. Ideal for all kinds of excuses to create - visual arts, sculpture, mixed media canvas, decorating trays, clocks, boxes and frames, adding to iron gates to hold chains together and much more. While the padlocks do not open and the keys don't turn inside the locks, they look real enough that one persists on trying to use them! One does try! lol :)
Sizes (approx) : the keys are 23mm long, small padlocks are 14mm x 23mm high, large padocks are 18mm x 28mm high.
Attach or adhere to a project, perfect for cards or invitations or use in jewellery creation. With an antique nickel finish, the metal charms are perfect as they are but also easy to alter and add colour using alcohol inks and Distress Crayons. To personalise any metal piece using watercolours, inks and other water-based mediums, simply prepare with a thin coat of clear, white or black gesso before you begin.
