Finnabair Metallic Flakes are leafy fragments of very fine metal sheets of imitation gold, silver and copper leaf, collected into a large jar for easy access and storage. Ideal for all kinds of arts and crafts, decoupage, papercrafts, mixed media, scrapbooking, home decor, vintage framing and other creations where you wish to add a touch of metallic goodness.
To use ... apply a thin even layer of Finnabair Gilding Glue (sold separately) onto your prepared dry surface. When this glue is starting to turn transparent, gently apply the metallic flakes to the area. Let dry before brushing off excess with a soft brush. Add more leaf if necessary. Pour excess into your jar for the next arty adventure. After the leaf is completely dry, it can be protected with glossy, solvent or waterbased varnish.
Each jar contains 150ml (5 fl oz) of metallic leaf in various colour combinations. Jar is approx 70mm wide x 60mm high.
