Arty Treasures are for enjoying, sharing and using for creativity, arts and crafts!
Make art to makes smiles! Its important that we all find our own way to heal our minds, soothe our souls, find our happy. Creating art isn't rocket science but it is pretty incredible.
I was having a day the other day, and it wasn't until I had almost finished an art journal page did I realise how rubbish I had been feeling! lol :) By the time the page it was finished, I was calmer and my headspace wasn't so cloudy. The page was a mess though... purrfectly cluttered chaos of beautiful colours!
I showed it to a friend and she loved it! That felt good too :)
So make lots more art ... because art helps everyone, both the creator and the viewer - even that art you think is a big fat chaotic mess, its still bound to have helped you plus someone else will love it and it will bring them joy!
Above : chaotic feelings within created cluttered but fun colourful artwork!
The quote I've used in my latest page says "sorry but the cat and I have plans"... Dyan Reaveley's wise words! Created in the large Dylusions journal using stamps, ink sprays, paints, scissors, collage medium, paint pens, stencils, glitter glue and Archival ink pad. Not quite in that order... the stamping was second after the painting of the background. More about this later, I've plans to write a tutorial :) Til then, I hope it inspires you to have a go and makes you smile!
