Its gorgeous, its orange, its Crackling Campfire - and yes, it Has Arrived at 'Art by Jenny'! Yay :) This new Distress colour by Tim Holtz and Ranger is dark and mysterious, vibrant and firey!
Some items arrived the other day (totally as planned you know) with the Ink Pads, Oxide Ink Pads, Oxide Sprays, both Reinkers and the Embossing Glaze and the rest of the treasures arrived this week - so we are in the process of posting the PreOrder Bundles (17th Sept today). Thank you one and all for waiting with me for your awesome Tim Treasures!
NEW! Tim Treasures ... (10th Sept) ... Tim's wonderfully decorative and textured stamps have arrived - Specimen, Tapestry and Renaissance, as well as the Examination and Anatomy Chart. Also in today's delivery are the beautiful new stencils and the groovy versatile Shifter set, MultiDots. These new Shifter Stencils are a set of 3 regular sized ones (normally a set of 3 are mini) and each layerable stencil has a series of spots that line up with each other to create marvellous circle patterns. Circles are always fun to work with :)
Tim's other new stamps (Snarky Cat Halloween, Tiny Text Halloween, Dearly Departed, Sketch Manor and the mini set of stencils (no.49) are still on their way ... due to arrive early October. I'll update this blog post as new information arises :)
NEW! Dina Wakley Media Gloss Sprays ... All the colours of the Gloss Acrylic Sprays are in stock now! These work beautifully on all kinds of surfaces including fabrics (not sure if its washable though), paper, card, Dina's wonderfully textured cotton watercolour paper, plain collage paper, beautiful chipboard die cuts and all her mixed media journals. The latest announcements of Stamps, Stencils and printed collage paper should be available in October sometime.
NEW! Darkroom Door Stamps and Stencils ... Not online yet but everything just announced by Rachel and Stewart has arrived with restocks of a few of (my) favourites (its all about me you know)... Buzzing Bees Stamp Set included!
Have you made time for art lately? With all the rushing about trying to stay safe and keep at a distance from each other, its easy to let the mind get strung out... so don't save your favourite treasures for a rainy day! Get ink on your fingers as you feel all the benefits that being creative provides. There are no rules and you can't make mistakes, so simply enjoy every arty moment! Its amazing how much art and all creativity can help our hearts and minds :) Have fun!
Need more of Dyan Reaveley's beautiful acrylic paints and ink sprays? All the colours are in stock again! I love seeing all the colours on the shelf as much as wrapping them in purple bubbles for their journey to you :) Stencils and stamps have had a few restocks too. Dyan's old stamps that have been woken from retirement will be here soon, hopefully in around 4 weeks. Its slow these days but well worth it :)
Paper and Surfaces ...There are sooooo many wonderful papers out there, and everyone says theirs is the best! Some might be right, but I think its a personal thing, like choosing a brand of pencil...! Strathmore Watercolour is my fave as it works for everything... stamping, painting, collage! I love the hotpress watercolour paper as its smooth for stamping and easy to cut with scissors. The mixed media is perfect for everything too as well as using alcohol markers like Chameleon Pens and Copics. Bristol is mainly used for drier techniques like drawing, stamping, colouring, pencil work. Strathmore Paper is available in many types but I only stock the essentials - Mixed Media, Watercolour and Bristol - in stock as blocks, cards, pads of paper and various journals.
