My Arty Idea-Ology Afternoon
I enjoyed a lovely arty afternoon one Sunday in June, tidying my studio art table and then playing with papers, scissors, glue stick and pencils, using the old arty treasures with the new favourites. I highly recommend it!

I've used Tim's Idea-ology arty treasures - Collage Tissue, Paper Dolls 'Poses', Layers Engravings, Small Talk and Clippings stickers, and Flashcards. Derwent Inktense pencils were used with a brush to colour everything, then the white Sharpie Creative Brush Tip Paint Pen to doodle in a few highlights and spots.
All of which we have inStore if you'd like to have a go with paper, glue, collage and colouring yourself :)
Here are a few progress photographs to show how this planner page evolved...

Above (and top) : the finished page before I put it back into the Happy Planner folder (classic size, approx 6"x9"). Idea-Ology stickers and Flashcards added a few messages and thoughts.
Gotta love new scissors! These groovy Recoil Scissors (7" snips, shown above next to the Dylusions glue stick) by Tim Holtz and Tonic Studios are so light and balanced to hold, and didn't take long at all to get used to not having loopy handles. They cut all kinds of paper, card and dry tissue so beautifully, easily getting close into corners and around dog ears.
The large ones (called 9.5 inch Recoil Scissors) are great for cutting larger pieces or straight lines, with ease I might add, so smooth to use.
I hope this planner page inspires you to have a play, use your favourite colours and simply enjoy every crafty moment.
:)
Have a Happy Arty Day!
