A stencil is a thin durable sheet of plastic in a translucent cloudy grey colour, with shapes cut out to use as a mask for blending layers, template for tracing pieces or a guide for placement.
It is not necessary to trim apart your stencil template if only using it to trace or mark out the shapes. If you decide to trim your stencil apart (to get 9 individual masks and 1 frame) ... either ensure one edge of every piece stays in-tack so you don't forget which piece goes where, or label each one with a permanent marker beforehand (with their placement in the grid).
Sizes (approx) : Overall square is 10 7/8" x 10 7/8" (276mm x 276mm) x 24mm wide. Inner frame measures 228mm x 228mm. Sizes of each piece varies.
The matching Puzzle Artboard Frame kit (made of thick chipboard) is also available, sold separately.
