Adhesive backed silver coloured foil sheets are part of the Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink collection of arty essentials. Each rectangle piece of foil has a shiny reflective finish and an easy to peal backing sheet. It is actual metal foil, like a thick Alfoil, and with an easy to peel off backing sheet.
Perfect for cold foiling techniques, embossing (with Texture Fades and Textured Impressions and other embossing folders), hand embossing with a stylus, die cutting or using for alcohol ink artwork.
Emboss or die cut as it is (with the backing sheet on) or peel off the backing sheet and apply to cardstock, acetate, cellophane or paper and then get creative. Both work well, have a play and enjoy the creativity!
This sturdy metal surface can be coloured or stained using Tim Holtz alcohol inks, Archival Inks, Acrylic Paint, Distress Paints, Distress Crayons, Stickles Glitter Glues and Foundry Inks. To use watersoluble inks and paints, simply apply clear, black or white gesso before you begin colouring.

Being an aluminium foil, it is soft and may collect dings and dents along its journey to you ... these will smooth out no worries at all.
