Collection: Die Cutting Templates and Embossing Folders

Die Cutting Templates and Embossing Folders - by Tim Holtz, Sizzix and Spellbinders for Dina and Dyan ... this collection includes thinlits, framelits, Bigz Dies, texture fades, accessories and tools. Used for making papercut shapes, dimensional layers, tactile embossed surfaces, custom stencils and masks, frames and more ... plus die cutting tools tools like Tim's Sidekick, portable machine.

Thinlits are a marvellously versatile tool - Sizzix designed these shapes to cut a single sheet of cardstock, paper, metallic foil or vellum. They also cut lightweight fabrics and felts and can be used for embossing, stencilling and tracing shapes.

Framelits are like Thinlits, creative dies for cutting shapes in papers, cardstock, vellum and foil. They cut very close to their coordinating stamped image, leaving very little or no white border. The main difference between Thinlits and Framelits is that Framelits have an open back inside the die (enabling you to cut other pieces within the frame at the same time), whereas Thinlits are a solid piece.

Bigz Dies - only 1 left! - are strong steel rule templates designed to cut just a variety of substrates up to 2 or 3mm thick ... fabrics, textiles, paper, cardstock, metallic foil, vellum, vinyl, acetate, plastic packaging, tissue, thin chipboard, thin balsa wood, some magnetic sheets and cellophane.

Embossing Folders also called Textured Impressions or Texture Fades - in various sizes, multileveled, regular and 3-Dimensional. Used for pressing papers into embossed pattens, texture and dimension. Made of durable plastic, hinged at the short end (generally referred to as "top"). It can also be used to pressing patterns into paperclay or modelling paste!
