New Dina Wakley Arty Treasures! This release includes a wonderful stamp set called 'Phone Doodles', 2 very cool stencils, an awesome box of Dina's artwork on cards and more faces printed on Transparencies to buy, collect, share and use to create heartwarming art. Arrived and looking awesome! Especially the decks of cards :)
Check out the stencils, how often have we found ourselves standing like that? ha ha ha :) Love the look of the Art Cards, they're 3.5"x5.5" in size and made of 270gsm heavyweight cardstock with a glossy finish. Obviously my image below isn't to scale but it gives you an idea of what has been released!
Dina Wakley MEdia Art Cards are double sided, glossy pieces of inspiration with large rounded corners, each with a single word (typewriter typeface on small white strip). Thoughts include : mischief, antics, shenanigans, solitude, accept, calm validate, proud, morph, reach, fuss, catastrophe and many more - 50 in total.
The backs are all the same, with a beautiful blue based artwork, while the fronts are in five different styles, word themes and colour-ways. Designed to help jumpstart ideas and inspire creativity, encouraging you to create whatever and however you wish.

Tim Holtz Tonic Studios - Recoil Scissors! InStore! I've been using my 7" Recoil Snips to trim heaps of Dylusions fish for my art journal page and its been easier to get in and around the curved fins and tails - brilliant! So smooth and sharp. It's been interesting how my hands seemed to adapt easily to holding the different kind of handles. Good different :)
A friend/customer who bought both pairs said they are both fantastic - she said they're easy to hold and use (don't slip out of her hands and the locking mechanism is easy and doesn't get in the way), they're nice and sharp, super pointy right to the very tip of the blades. Thank you Dely :)

Tim Holtz Idea-Ology ...
The May release of Idea-Ology (which is not a limited edition, therefore we will have it always) includes useful, practical and beautiful things - collage papers, sweetheart adornments, layers of paperie designs, faux fasteners (Screw Heads, exactly like Machine Heads but different), a gorgeous dog in Figure Stands, vintage looking cello tape, new paper dolls (with houses and cars), folios, booklets and folders and so much more. Plus Photobooth has been refreshed and we have the new ones in stock!
Tim Idea-Ology ... update 7th June - everything is in stock except the Cello Tape, which is due late June :) Won't be long!

Delivery of Idea-Ology was fast because Advantus Corp have already had it shipping around the world while we were all watching the Simon Says Create weekend (which was amazing, imagine being there! actually, it reminded me of the old Kaszazz conventions, buckets of arty fun). Everything is online in the Idea-Ology collection (see the above main menu under "Tim Treasures") so you can buy now or save for later. :) Happy Arty Days!
