Christmas Wishes Planner Page
The photo below is of my planner page, used to create the banner that was shown throughout December for my Christmas holidays wishes and announcement.
The original artwork was made on a 7x10in planner page (classic sized Happy Planner) on smooth lightweight matte paper. Beautiful paper to write and stamp on, however some Archival ink colours do bleed through but that can easily be fixed by using stickers or collage fodder over the top on the other side of the page. My fave papers are watercolour and mixed media papers, you can throw anything and everything at them and it turns out great! I do love all papers too, I'll create art on anything I can get my hands on :) lol
My planner page was created by layering all Tim Holtz Idea-Ology pieces using simple techniques - cutting, inking, sticking, layering. It features a pair of children (Tim Holtz Paper Dolls from the Christmas Layers pack) with the Idea-Ology dog and reindeer (Christmas Ephemera) over a background of Collage Stitched Frames, Snapshots, Backdrops and a few botanical pieces (also from Christmas Layers).
My page started with the snowman photo, the stitched collage frame and a deer. Then it grew into a whole page with a border of collage tiles, paper dolls, botanicals, labels, flashcard, Backdrops (cut to size with Tim's Deckle Trimmer), adhered together with Dylusions gluestick.
Archival Ink in Vintage Photo was inked around most of the edges using the foam ink blending tool to hide the white paper edges.
Lastly, a sparkly shimmer was applied over the stars, leaves and berries, using Ranger's Stickles Glitter Glue, hopefully you can see it too!

Arty Crafty Christmas and New Year Holidays!

All of us at Art by Jenny are having a well earned break over Christmas and the New Year. Our online shop will be left to it's own devices working hard 24/7, while we eat, sleep, drink coffee and create more art!
All orders for arty treasures purchased during this time will be packed after we return to work on Monday 15th January, ready for posting on Tuesday 16th January 2024. Actual timeframes for packing and posting may vary depending how busy the shop is throughout this time!
Emails will still be checked every few days, therefore if you have questions about anything arty, simply contact us and we will reply as soon as we can.
Tim Holtz Arty Treasures ... anything new announced by Tim and his friends over the next month or so will be ordered however will not be part of the sale. We'll update the PreOrder category with information of their arrivals. If you wish to PreOrder anything, simply sing out. We'll save the items for you from our first deliveries, and organise an invoice for you after we return to work.
