Heidi Swapp's Minc Machine, Minc Texture Paste and Foils are here (Minc Ink on the way), Distress Crayons have arrived and Distress Paints are returning to Art by Jenny as well, all available soon. Tim Holtz Distress Mystery Colour for May 2020!
Its simply gorgeous - Speckled Egg - vintage, pretty, shabby chic, light blue, Tim calls it a wonder of nature! Duck egg blue is another name that might come to mind when using this pretty blue.
Speckled Egg is here! Its just as awesome in real life as it is in the photos I'm packing and posting all the PreOrders as fast as I can then there should be a few left for everyone else. Thank you so much each and every one of you who ordered in advance.
Distress Speckled Egg is available as an Ink Pad (3"x3"), Ink Re-inker, Oxide® Pad (3"x3"), Oxide® Re-inker, Embossing Glaze, Spray Stain, Oxide® Spray and Flip Top Paint - plus a collectable Enamel Pin!
They've all been ordered and are on their way! They're for sale in advance as a Bundle (one of everything plus a free enamel pin) then once they've arrived, each product will be available individually (or request preorder of whatever you wish). Choose your favourite one or one of everything here!
Its less than 3 weeks until we see this gorgeous new colour in real life! How exciting. Did you know its been 16 years since Tim and Ranger first developed the incredible range of Distress inks? I only met them (the inks) in 2009 and have been a huge fan ever since. Check out Ranger's trip down memeory lane here.
There will be 12 new colours including Speckled Egg, each to be released in an easy going manner. This gives us all time to discover, save, collect, share, love and create with each new colour before another one is announced!
Ranger are also developing a collection of enamel pins in every Distress colour, being released in sets now and then :) Perfect for pinup boards, clothing (ties, jackets, boots) and a letterboard like Tim shows in his Hello Speckled Egg video.
Plus, after each lot of 4 colours have been released, we'll be getting sets of Mini Distress Ink Pads and after each group of 6 colours, a set of Distress Crayons! Awesome :) Its all so exciting!
Until this beautiful new colour arrives, check out what Tim and his design team, Paula Cheney and Stacy Hutchinson have been doing. Links are to each of their blogs where you'll find wonderful tutorials to inspire you to be creative and have a go. They're so clever! Love the butterfly, and the bird, and the boxes and the most awesome fish - ok, so I love it all :D I bet you do too!
The above photos are from Tim's blog : https://timholtz.com ... Check out Tim's blog because there you will find an abundance of information, tutorials, announcements and videos.
Dylusions by Dyan Reaveley Update!
Are you looking for Dyan's fun and unique treasures? You're in the right place! We've just sold out of a "few".... but its ok! More arriving every week. Its always Christmas around here! Love my shop :)
A Note on Availability ... Ranger, Stampers Anonymous and others are working as fast as they can while keeping safe and staying well. Everything may be delayed but I for one am very grateful that they are making safety and health a priority. Eventually we'll all get to use Dyan's most fabulous stencil and all other out of stock supplies. Thank you for your patience! Stay well, keep smiling and be kind to each other.
I update the products once the boxes are unpacked but feel free to click the 'notify me' button if you get there first :) I do answer those eventually, but quite often you'll find it faster to simply refresh a bookmarked page :)
Mostly I just sit around all day being fabulous... yes, of course I do, don't you?
This journal page was created by me using Dyan's beautiful acrylic paints, Tim's Entomology bees, Botanical Layers and a Paper Doll, Ranger's embossing powders and Darkroom Door's stencils. Plus a few other favourite treasures.
Speaking of good news ...
Dyan's fabulous stamp set, Dy's Alphabet, is due to land in 8-9 weeks time. Deliveries from Stampers Anonymous usually only take 4-5 weeks but lately its 2 months, saying it in weeks sounds faster! Watch this space or buy in advance (whatever you wish).

Delivery news ...
Australia Post may be a bit slower than usual but still, I'm always hopeful that your treasures travel fast anyway. Thankfully our hardworking posties are getting faster and more efficient (they've employed even more people, opened up new sorting centres and doing loads of overtime!). I'm told the larger parcels go faster because they're easier to pick up and sort which explains why some treasures seem to take forever and others are delivered overnight!
While sometimes parcels aren't being scanned during their journey either but rest assured, our hardworking posties do get your treasures delivered to their destination eventually. If you need help anytime, please don't hesitate to ask myself or Australia Post. We're all here to help!
eBay Store Update ...
As of 5th June 2020, my eBay store will have nothing visible for sale. Its been an amazing experience being a store owner in eBay and I've learnt a lot, received incredible feedback and had the support of 1000s of wonderful customers - all of which I'll be forever grateful. Like everything in life, there is change and I'm grasping it with both hands!
My online shop will continue to be open 24/7 at www.shop.artbyjenny.com.au (you are here) plus I can also organise personalised invoices, instalment plans (layby) and order in special requests, just for you whenever you wish.
Important thing to note - any orders in eBay will be posted and if you have questions or anything, I'll always be able to be contacted through eBay because I'll still have an account ... the only thing that is changing is that nothing will be visible for sale (in eBay) - there are thousands of arty treasures for sale here in Art by Jenny! I'm hoping all that amazing feedback will stay too :)
Mixed Media Tutorials ...
Over at the Art by Jenny blog, where I'm encouraging everyone to create a life less ordinary through art, is a growing collection of easy to follow, step by step tutorials with large clear photos and loads of information. If there's a particular technique you're searching for or you need a hand, I'm always here to help. Click here to visit the blog. Have fun!
More Inspiration and Online Lessons ...
Hope you're enjoying learning from our awesome designers during their live videos and online classes, they're such an inspiration. Dylusions has online classes for sale in her Etsy shop and Tim is saving all his videos on his blog... both easy to find but if you need a hand with finding them or about techniques, I'll get their links for you. :)
