I wonder what Tim Holtz has up his sleeves? Its been a couple of months since we were introduced to the gorgeous dark purple Distress colour that is Villainous Potion. Have you used it yet? It goes so beautifully with Dusky Concord and Cracked Pistacho :) Sometimes I am so busy crafting I forget to take photos!
Distress Mica Pearl Crayons and a Birthday Card ...
Did you know that the gorgeous Mica Pearl Crayon sets that Tim and Ranger released for Halloween and Christmas in 2021 are back? They're being delivered inStore late January. I'm guessing that Ranger made more due to popular demand.
I've used them to make a birthday card for a friend using Dina Wakley's Chipboard pieces, Tim's Collage Tissue and a few extra pieces and scraps from my stash. Distress Crayons are different to Caran D'Ache Neocolor II Crayons (which for me, are more like sticks of watercolour paint). Distress Crayons glide along smoothly then require pressure to blend. With a mist of water, they blend even more. Takes a little bit of practice but as everything arty, that's fun too.
Thanks for reading my arty crafty update! Dina Wakley is about to share her newest designs too! So exciting :)
Wishing you many wonderful arty Happy days throughout 2022. I hope this year delivers to you, good health, time for creating art, love and laughter, a 'time go slower' machine, and more art. Lots and lots of Art!
Stay safe, be crafty and have a Happy creative day!
