New Arty Treasures from Dina and Dyan

Happy Arty Days to You! I hope you've been enjoying time doing what you love (art art and more art). This year is travelling along at quite a quick pace, and thankfully Dina, Dyan and Tim are keeping our retail therapy needs met by dreaming up new arty treasures, refreshing designs and awesome essentials.

Read on for latest updates for each designer's happenings (this blog post is for Feb and March as the deliveries have merged together, better to keep the info in one place I think). Freshly updated today, 14th March - New Dylusions by Dyan, Dyamonds first, stamps second, then Dina's release with details about the glue, plus a short overview with Tim. 

Dina's Spellbinders release - is going to be inStore one day, however we do not have a timeframe yet. Can't wait to see this in real life - Dina's designed some incredibly awesome looking embossing folders and wonderful Betterpress plates ... msg me if you'd like to be on the list :)

Dyan Reaveley's Dylusions ...

Dyan's Dyamond release from 25th Feb ... Hearts, flowers, leaves, oh my! Dyan's latest release has stencils, chipboard pieces, embossing powders, mica pearl pigments, inspiration for all occasions! Wonderful additions to the Dylusions range of creative essentials! Buy now so you can use them sooner or watch their space until later - do whatever You wish to do :)

Dyan's designed more wonderfully fun and original stamps sets for us to buy, share, collect and use to create smiles!

It's fantastic to have some of the illustrations from Dyan's collage sheets too :) Now I (I mean we) can use the dog, octopus, bluebird and other favourites over and over! Yay! I do love all the cats, fantastic new faces, the fashionable bodies, long wavy borders, the wisdom as well ... it's an inspiring and fun release :)

Dina has always been different! That's why we love her :) Dina and Ranger have created a really interesting Ledger Journal inspired by a real life bookkeeping ledger from a hardware store in the 1920s. These are fantastic to alter with all the beautiful inky handwriting and gridlines. We also have fabulous vintage moon faces as stamps along with heartfelt wisdom, Antiquities tissue with wonderful illustrations, a Coaster stencil 'Rattan' inspired by basketweaving and bottles of glue! Such a fabulous release!

Above : Here's my page I made inside the Dina Wakley MEdia Ledger Journal using stamps, texture pastes, transparencies (birds), collage tissue (sun, moon, goddess) and other arty treasures. You can still see the wonderful background printing :) Check out the blog soon for an easy step by step tutorial.

Dina's Bottles of Glue Information ... Dina's glue has been put on hold indefinitely because Ranger need to fix the formula so it survives in all weathers! Imagine being so cold that your glue cures into a lump before you get to use it  >_<  Never fear, Ranger will sort it out.

Lucky we have Tim's Distress Collage Medium which is a glue and sealer which dries strong, matte and almost invisible on all surfaces - available in jars and bottles with a fine tip nozzle.

Tim Holtz Treasures ....

Tim may not be designing or releasing as much this year, however, he doesn't really need to when he's dreamed up 1000s of amazing designs already over the past 20 years! Besides, he's still recording Tim TV for us :) So far we've had a heartfelt fun Valentine's episode and a Distress Q&A which is so informative! Each has chapter markers if you want to go back for something.

Tim's YouTube channel has a huge collection of videos - check out the Easter inspirations one... I've bought some more of the Idea-Ology Vignette Finials for the bunnies and Easter garden scenes!

Here is a small sample of what Tim has made using Distress woodless watercolour pencils, Distress Crayons and other mediums with stencils and stamps :
