Happy Arty November!
In Australia, November is the season for birthdays, singing and chatting wild birds as they chomp through gazillions of gum blossoms flowering everywhere around us, buzzing bees working on our blackberry hedge and fruit trees, wildflowers flowering throughout the Outback, spooky crafty makes (simply because it's fun to stamp with cats, witches, bats, ghosties and pumkons), lots of preparations for Christmas (23rd is the day for putting cake fruit in to soak), Rememberance day and Thankgiving day, and looking forward to warm sunny days of Summer (with hopefully some rain each night so it has time to soak in before the heat of the sun turns it into dust).
Its a busy fun colourful month, a perfect excuse to create more art, especially as it helps keep the ol' grey matter from getting too frazzled!
Dyan Reveaveley's Dylusions ... A whole stash of wonderful arty treasures for us to buy, collect, use, share and enjoy! Dyan is currently hanging out in YouTube sharing daily festive tags made using all our favourite Dylusional treasures ... check it out and have a go. It is fun to be crafty :)
Dyamond Boards, which are thin chipboard shapes preprimed ready to use, in fun shapes of trees in large and small, baubles (circles with rings), 5-pointed stars (angels, starfish), domed bells and rectangle tags (one with traditional mitred corners and the other with a scallop top).
Dylusions Shimmer Paints, beautiful acrylic paints that shimmer in full colour, some like a metallic sheen.
