Quick Collage with Idea-Ology Strips

Quick Collage with Idea-Ology Strips

I've had a fabulous time playing with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Paper Strips! Love all the designs in this pack, they're perfectly sized for cards, pages, paper weaving, using as a border or frame, or making a background like I have here.

- See the Paper Strips here -

I started by tipping them out onto my page, then rather than wandering over each piece like I normally do, I decided to simply use the first ones I pick up. Sort of! lol

Sheet of decorative paper strips with patterns, numbers, and letters on a grid background of the Dylusions ledger journal

Once the strips were glued down in my Dylusions 8x8in Ledger Journal, I gathered paper dolls, birds and botanicals from my tin of Idea-ology Memoir, Collage Strips, Organics and Transparent Things.

There are so many beautiful pieces in this tin!

Collage with vintage-style illustration of a bird, flowers, and text 'I'm a bad influence but damn I'm fun'.

A quick quote from Dyan Reaveley's Dylusions finished off the page. Only took about 10-15 minutes overall :) Fast and fun!

Collage with vintage style Tim Holtz layers and ephemera including a sitting man, birds, nest on a branch, flowers, and Dylusions phrase.

I filmed the creation of this page, which shows the process in real time. Will post it here once it's tidied up a bit.

Thanks so much for visiting and having a wander around my Creative Space. I hope it inspires you to be crafty today!

Happy Arty Days to You!
