This adorable bat is shaped out of light brown or tan kraft paper covering a frame of wings outstretched with veins and claws, a body with face, nose and ears. 

The bat is ready to hang and display using the length of natural string attached between the centre of the wings and the head.

Customise your new friend using all your favourite arty treasures - tissue paper, scrapbooking or cardmaking scraps, collage prints, fabric, felt, ribbon, string, yarn, glitter, texture paste, grit paste, paint, ink sprays, wax finishes and more.

The paper mache base is not primed, therefore apply a thin coating of clear, white or black gesso to stop colours from soaking into the kraft substrate, enabling your layers of tissue papers, inks and paints to dry at their true colour.
