About Tim's Distress Oxide Inks ...
Distress Oxide Ink in an ink pad (also called stamp pad or InkPad), with a square of felt that is used for applying ink to rubber and clear stamps or creating backgrounds using a craft mat (swiping, smooshing and marbelling). Ink pad casing is 3"x3", the felt is 2"x2".

The Distress Oxide Ink is a richly pigmented colourful ink. It is a water-reactive and pigment ink fusion that creates an oxidised effect when sprayed, misted, brushed or splattered with water. The colours are opaque and dry with a matte finish on porous surfaces, paper, cardstock, kraft, collage paper, deli paper, ricepaper and tissue.

More Tips and Info ...
Use these beautiful versatile Oxide Inks with your favourite clear, rubber and foam stamps, through stencils, smoosh on craft mats and or apply direct to paper and cardstock. Blend using blending brushes, foam ink blending tools, detailer waterbrush, craft sheet or brayer.

Add a splash or spray of water to get the reactive distress look. Make sure to dry between each application of colour. Why not use heat embossing by sprinkling on the powder while the ink is still wet, allow 10-15 seconds for the powder to settle, shake off the excess and heating until it melts.

Being pigment based, they do take a bit longer to dry than regular Distress Inks, but the wait is worth it. The colour combinations and layering capabilities are so much fun to use.

Each ink pad is 3"x3" in size.
