What a beautiful way to add delicate patterns to cards, pockets, frames, page elements, collage pieces and more. This design has gorgeous sprigs of leafy foliage and fronds growing from the outer edge of the frame towards the centre, leaving an open space around 3cm x 3cm. There are little 5-pointed stars scattered around the leaves as well. Use for Christmas, birthdays, weddings, parties, just because days!
An embossing folder is a tool used in papercrafts, journaling, cardmaking and mixed media for creating textured dimensional layers. It is made of durable plastic, hinged at the short end (generally referred to as "top"). This size embossing folder is perfect for all excuses to create - from tiny Rolodex cards and ATCs (artist trading cards) to greeting cards and tags, as well as scrapbooking, bookmaking and journal layers (imagine this pattern as a book cover).
Being a 3D or 3-dimensional embossing folder, the paper or card is sculpted into shape with varying depths so the patterns create wonderful tactile finish.
To use, simply place your sheet of paper or card inbetween the plastic and run through your favourite machine. The paper or card will be pressed into shape, giving a raised dimensional effect. Mist your sheet of card or paper with water beforehand for a more enhanced finish.
