What a wonderful way to add stylized texture and patterns into shapes, backgrounds and collaged layers. This design features 4 corners with parallel lines within each corner, made of raised rounded thickish lines.

An embossing folder is a tool used in papercrafts, journaling, cardmaking and mixed media for creating textured dimensional layers. It is made of durable plastic, hinged at the short end (generally referred to as "top"). This larger size embossing folder is perfect for all excuses to create - from ATCs (artist trading cards) to A2, 5x7 and slimline (narrow tall) cards, as well as scrapbooking, bookmaking and journal layers (imagine this pattern as a book cover).

Being a 3D or 3-dimensional embossing folder, the paper or card is sculpted into shape with varying depths so that the birds fly over the top of the text, rather than simply within the words. 

To use, simply place your sheet of paper or card inbetween the plastic and run through your favourite machine. The paper or card will be pressed into shape, giving a raised dimensional effect.

Mist your sheet of card or paper with water beforehand for a more enhanced finish.
