Scribbled Letter - Embossing Folder ... designed by Dina Wakley. Part of the 'Collaged Birds' collection made by Spellbinders Paper Arts (no.SES-065). The embossing folder is A5 in size (145mm x 223mm). 

A whole folder full of beautiful inky handwriting (written by a doctor because I can't read it), with what can only be guessed to say wonderful things about birds and feathers (because it is the Collaged Birds collection) in a heartfelt message.

An embossing folder is a tool used in papercrafts, journaling, cardmaking and mixed media for creating textured dimensional layers. It is made of durable plastic, hinged at the short end (generally referred to as "top"). This larger size embossing folder is perfect for all excuses to create - from ATCs (artist trading cards) to A2, 5x7 and slimline (narrow tall) cards, as well as scrapbooking, bookmaking and journal layers (imagine this pattern as a book cover).

To use, simply place your sheet of paper or card inbetween the plastic and run through your favourite machine. The paper or card will be pressed into shape, giving a raised dimensional effect. Mist your sheet of card or paper with water beforehand for a more enhanced finish.
