Scribble Sticks - Set 5 ... Dina Wakley Media. 12 (twelve) watersoluble crayon-pastel-pencil-sticks for us to use with visual arts, journaling, mixed media, papercrafts, scrapbooking, painting canvas and having a fabulous arty crafty painterly time.

Dina Wakley's Scribble Sticks are a watersoluble mixed media medium in the shape of a crayon or short woodless pencil. These pastels are an acrylic based paint stick fused with high quality watersoluble pigments in vibrant semi-opaque colours. The more you layer, the deeper the hue and bolder the colour.

Dina's Scribble Sticks sketch like a hard pastel or crayon, perfect for creating backgrounds, halos and shading around shapes, scribbly marks, messy art, neat and tidy art, bold marks, blended layers, doodles, colouring in, and making painterly marks everywhere. Create however it makes you smile!

They work on their own on plain paper, sealed card, gesso layers as well as over the top of other Dina Wakley MEdia paints and mediums (and Tim's Distress and Dyan's Dylusions) including watercolour, gouache and acrylic paints, Dina's Glossies, ink sprays and stains, Archival and Distress inks, texture pastes and other mediums. Such versatile sticks to use wet or dry on wet or dry surfaces like watercolour card, mixed media paper, ledger paper, printed and plain cardstock, kraft stock, fabrics, materials, canvas, and other porous light or dark surfaces.

So many ways to create...
- Draw, scribble and colour direct on your dry surface.
- Use the Scribble Sticks (drawing, colouring, scribbling) and then wet and blend with a waterbrush, blending tool, sponge, paint brush or fingers.
- Pick pigment off the Scribble Sticks with a waterbrush and use as paint.
- Draw or scribble directly onto wet surfaces and watch the colours blend (don't forget to gently wipe off excess paints).
- colour direct to stamps (mist the stamp with water and scribble on the colour, press to print).
- Scribble on a gel printing plate, wet or dry.
- Repeat all the above but with wet Scribble Sticks.
