Crackle Paint, Translucent Gloss - Tim Holtz Distress - Dimensional Medium with crackled clear effects with a smooth hard shiny finish, 3fl oz (88.7ml) jar. Made by Ranger.

This Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint is a smooth medium which levels out as it dries to a shiny enamel-like dimension (slightly raised) with crackled and crazing effects. It is best left to air dry naturally. 

Adding dimension and texture is perfect to use on all kinds of papercrafts, mixed media artworks, display projects, journaling, cardmaking, crafts, collage, scrapbooking and other visual arts adventures. 

Apply with a paintbrush, spatula, palette knife or silicon art tool. Paint and smoosh freehand or blend through stencils for defined shapes and patterns with crackled effects. To emphasize the effects, rub in Distress Crayon (sold separately) after the paint is dry.

To create a tinted medium while it is wet ... tint Crackle Paint by mixing in acrylic paint or Distress Re-Inker ink using a palette knife on your craft mat or in a spare jar. Apply the new colour of Distress Crackle Paint to your artwork. Let dry.
To colourise the medium after it is dry ... apply Distress Paint, Crayon or acrylic paints with a brush or palette knife. Let dry. Buff off excess with a wet or dry cloth (depending how much shappy or distressed look you wish to make). Practice and play with different combinations (paint, crayon, water, rubbing, buffing, or not) and see which you like the best.

Dries to a permanent finish on most surfaces. Clean up all tools and accessories with water before it dries.
