Crackle Paste, Translucent - Tim Holtz Distress Dimensional Medium with crackly 3D clear coverage and gloss finish, 3fl oz (88.7ml) jar. Made by Ranger.

This Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Texture Paste is a dimensional medium. It dries as you place it, with all the marks, peaks and effects you create plus a crackled crazy effect - best created when the product is left to air dry naturally. It is smooth milky paste which dries into lines and cracks with and clear glossy finish, and can be stained, die cut, trimmed or altered.

Adding dimension and texture is perfect to use on all kinds of papercrafts, mixed media artworks, display projects, journaling, cardmaking, crafts, collage, scrapbooking and other visual arts adventures. 

Apply with a paintbrush, spatula, palette knife or silicon art tool. Paint and smoosh freehand or blend through stencils for defined shapes and patterns with crackled effects. To emphasize the crackles, rub in Distress Crayon (sold separately) after the paste is dry.

Alter the Crackle Paste before you begin, or after you have applied the paste to your project. Whichever you wish!
- Before : Mix in a few drops of Distress Paint, Reinkers or Oxide Reinkers, or acrylic paint on your craft mat or paint palette. Being a clear based product, the colours may be similar to or lighter than the original. Apply to your project and let air dry naturally for best crackly effects.
- After : apply the creamy paste as normal with a brush or spatula, let air dry naturally. Add colour using any of your favourite mixed media methods with inks, paints or sprays.
fyi, mixing in any sprays into the paste may turn it into slime (that doesn't dry well).

Clean up all tools and accessories with water before it is dry.
