This jar of Distress Mica Flakes is beautiful to look at, easy to work with and simple to clean up. The mica flakes are very light and thin, easy to add as a scattering of mica over the base or ground of a diorama or use in a shaker card. The mica appears white in the jar, yet clear with shimmery finish on a card, page or display make. 

Perfect for year round creativity - birthdays, Halloween, Easter, Christmas, any day at all. This clear mica is made to complement the nostalgic palette of the whole Distress range of inks, paints and sprays.

Adhere it to all your cards, journal pages, display makes, framed artworks, scrapbook pages, festive junk journals and mini books using Distress Collage Medium, matte medium, Ranger's Glossy Accents, wet glues, multi mediums, gloss mediums and or texture pastes to add a snowy finish.

Love using colourful mica? Tint it with alcohol inks to make a personalised palette of colourful translucent sparkle. 
How - Use a small dry cup with a spoonful of mica, add a few drops of your favourite alcohol ink colour, mix up with a dry spoon or stick, enjoy. Colour your mica before you add to your project or touch it up afterwards. Enjoy every sparkly moment!
