Distress Micro Glaze ... Tim Holtz and Ranger. 1 fl oz (30ml) jar.
Tim Holtz Distress Micro Glaze is a thick waxy substance that works as a sealer for Distress Inks, ink sprays, watercolours, and other water-soluble mediums. Seal your projects for a water resistant finish. Ideal for use on papercrafting projects, mixed media, watercolour artworks and inkjet prints.
Application requires only a tiny teeny wee bit of Distress Glaze used at a time ... use a dry brush, sponge, fingers or dauber to apply, then use a dry piece of paper towel to buff away the excess.
Micro Glaze dries to a smudge resistant, satin (semi matte) waterproof finish on porous surfaces.
Some ways to easily apply Distress Micro Glaze ...
- Use a finger to dab tiny amounts of Micro Glaze onto the project, smooth it around and buff off with paper towel.
- Use a dauber or mini ink blending tool with the round foam (and save it only for Micro Glaze). Use your finger to dab a tiny amount onto the foam, then blend the glaze into the foam by rolling it around on your craft mat - then apply to your project in smooth circling motions. You may still need to buff off excess with dry paper towel.
- Use a dry regular paint brush or Distress Blending Brush (the one with the retractable lid, and save this brush only for Micro Glaze). Brush onto your surface in a smooth circling motion, then buff off excess with dry paper towel.
... use whichever method you find easiest and works best for you. No mistakes in art!
Depending on what you're making, you may be able to add more layers of inks, paints and collage over the top. Have a go and see what can be created - enjoy every moment!
Non-toxic, acid free.
