Create interesting artwork using these five vintage inspired cogs in pewter (silver), brass and bronze coloured metal. Each gear is smooth and flat. Alter with Distress paints and pastes to make rusty and or add a splash of colour for a patina effect. Use as they are, tie on ribbons in a rainbow of colours, glue on wings, beetles, gemstones, pearls or charms and hang off a chain ... there is no limit to what you can create with Idea-Ology! Sizes (approx) : smallest two are 1 1/2" (38mm x 38mm), cog with round holes is 1 3/4" (43mm x 43mm), larger two cogs are 2" (50mm x 50mm). 

Easily alter with Distress paints, mediums, crayons or alcohol inks. Attach or adhere to a project, perfect for cards or invitations or use in jewellery creation. To alter using watercolours, ink sprays or ink pads, simply prime or seal the metal with a thin coat of clear, white or black gesso before you begin.
