Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Stencil Chips are a thin chipboard with a rustic brassy gold metallic finish, each cut out with a single letter or numeral in an uppercase bold stencil typeface, traditional to packing crates. Use for all kinds of excuses to create - visual arts, sculpture, mixed media canvas, decorating trays, clocks, boxes and frames, bookmaking, junk journaling, scrapbooking.

Sizes (approx) : widths vary from 20mm to 32mm wide, and each is 43mm high.

Attach or adhere to a project with collage medium, double sided tape or other strong glue. With an antique nickel finish, the metal charms are perfect as they are but also easy to alter and add colour using alcohol inks, Distress Paints and or Distress Crayons. To personalise any metal piece using watercolours, inks and other water-based mediums, simply prepare with a thin coat of clear, white or black gesso before you begin.
