Inspired by vintage postmarks, stamps, labels and stamped imagery from letters around the world, this easy to use embossing folder creates a beautiful vintage look and feel with paper, vellum and cardstock.

The detailed design and linework create amazing dimensional texture, ideal for all kinds of papercrafts, pockets, junk journals, scrapbook pages, card backgrounds, anything you wish to make!

A Texture Fades Embossing Folder is a tool used for adding dimension to card, papers, metallic foils, vellum and some textiles. It is made of durable plastic, hinged at the short end (generally referred to as "top").

To use, simply place your paper, foil or card in between the hinged plastic and run through your favourite embossing and die cutting machine. The substrate will be pressed into shape, giving a raised dimensional effect.

Sizzix says...
For bolder results, mist a very fine spray of water onto both sides of the paper or card before use and pass the folder through your machine one to three times and let dry. This will help make the design deeper and more permanent. It needs to be thoroughly dry before applying or distressing with ink.

Sizzix Tim Holtz Texture Fades Embossing Folders are compatible with most die cutting and embossing hand-cranked machines including the BIGkick, Big Shot, Switch Plus and Vagabond machines using a single Cutting Pad and the machine's included Platform. This is too wide to use in the Sidekick.
