Tim's Stamp Platform is a marvellous contraption! The best thing since hot air balloons :) Whatever brand of stamping platform you get (Tim's is the best of course), you will love it. Enjoy every arty crafty moment :)
This groovy stamping tool is proving to be a paper and time saver for stamping words. No more inked lines around the words when I don't want them there. Sometimes I do want the inky markes but most often I don't. Fantastic! I'm very impressed.
I highly recommend buying additional magnets. They come in handy for smoothing out bulky card and you can stamp a few things at once.
The storage case (sleeve) is fantastic - strong and durable to store your platform and magnets.

12 July Update...
The first order of platforms are nearly here! Arriving here tomorrow or Friday :) Yay!
You know what I'll be doing all weekend! Packing and labelling Tim's stamp platforms and storage cases :) Those of you who have one in this new delivery - watch for the postie on Tuesday or Wednesday next week :D So exciting!
The next delivery will be sometime during or after August. I'm renaming the name (with PreOrder September) after this first delivery is posted to everyone to avoid confusion - so watch this space if you'd like to PreOrder your very own groovy stamping gadget! I'll post the link here when its ready :)

19 June Update...
The latest update (woo hoo!) is that the Tim Holtz Stamp Platforms have finally arrived at Tonic Studio (UK) and are being packed as fast as they can for their journey to Australia.
Please note: The first exciting delivery of this groovy gadget was confirmed to be early June but they changed the date on me so now they are (hopefully) arriving late June 2017 along with their coordinating Storage Cases/Pockets (sold separately).
I'm just waiting for my shipping notification from them before I can give out any specific dates.
While I have sold out of my first delivery, more will be arriving in August or September, so once this first order has been finalised and posted out to everyone, I'll create a new PreOrder... it'll get too confusing otherwise!

I’ve exciting news :) The delivery of the Tim Holtz Stamp Platforms from the UK will be arriving instore mid June. That’s in 4 weeks time!
This means I’m able to accept PreOrders again. I’ve only a few left in this first delivery but if you still like to see it before you buy, let me know :) I'll be taking oodles of photos and maybe even a video (you never know)!

10 May Update...
Same news from 30 April (2 weeks ago) but still the latest news :)
I have Fantastic News!
I've been chatting with Tonic Studios direct, both the US and UK offices for the past few weeks. Both are such lovely people and so helpful! Anyway, the UK Tonic Studios are working with me to enable me to buy direct. So pretty soon, you'll have your stamp platform - and without any legalities getting in the way.
Just waiting on confirmation from Tonic Studios about the delivery date!

This means that the UK version of Tim Holtz's Stamp Platforms could be here earlier than previously expected... hopefully June or July!
Due to the legalities with the US version of Tim Holtz's Stamp Platform, there has been worldwide delay on the launch. Therefore, its unlikely that we'll see the US version arrive in Australia before July or August.
I'm pleased to share that the UK version of Tim's Stamp Platform looks and works exactly the same as the one seen in videos and photos from Tim Holtz's blog, Tonic Studios' website, Creativation trade show (formerly CHA) and here at Art by Jenny.
What a huge relief! As soon as they land on my doorstep, I'll be singing from the rooftops :)
I feel for Tim Holtz and his team, Tonic Studios and My Sweet Petunia... court is such a stressful thing. Hopefully it'll be finalised as soon as possible and everyone involved is happy with the outcome. Fingers crossed for Tim and Tonic :)

Update 14 April 2017 ... I have information for you about the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and while its not fantastic news, its not the worst we could have received.
Since I last wrote to you, I’ve been trying to get hold of information from Tonic Studios for weeks but haven’t had much response other than, we’ll get back to you. In hindsight, they’ve obviously had their hands full talking to lawyers and reworking their groovy gadget.
I received an email from Mario Rossi this morning with an official letter from Tonic Studios about what's been happening. He’s quite positive and sends his thanks for our patience and understanding.
Its a worldwide delay, not just the US… those who have already got their Stamp Platform in the UK are even luckier than just getting it early! They’ve got the original :) But we will get ours too one day. Just not this week (April) as expected :(
If you haven't heard, My Sweet Petunia have been granted a patent for the Misti and from what I understand, they are asking all other manufacturers to change their own products (ie, Tim's platform).
In the letter from Tonic Studios, they state that they are very excited to launch the new Tim Holtz Stamping Platform. While they don’t consider their platform to be an infringement on the Misti patent and their claims, they do not want to expose us, their customers and retailers to any legal action, therefore are launching a newer model in place of the one seen in January at the trade show.
Because of this, there will be a delay in its production of 6-8 weeks - so it looks like it will be June or July before we see this arrive at Art by Jenny or anywhere else in Australia.
As with all inventions, everything gets reworked and revamped and redesigned as technology changes, ideas spring up and improvements are made. I'm sure the designer of Misti and all the other manufacturers including Tonic Studios work this out. There’s enough room on our planet for everyone’s amazing creations, gadgets and inventions :)
From a stamper's point of view (me), I wanted a stamping platform the second I saw Tim’s version! Until then I was satisfied with my 2 bits of plastic stuck together with duck tape :) lol Whether its Tim or the colour that changed my mind I don't really know, but I do know that I can't wait for it to arrive so I can use it! Christmas cards are going to be so much faster to make this year - meaning more than 5 people will get one :D Yay!
Back to you ... I realise another 6 to 8 weeks can seem like a really long time so I'm truly grateful for your patience and understanding.
I hope you're happy to wait with me for Tim's amazing stamp platform.

About the Stamp Platform...
Disclaimer... it may look different now. This clever gadget helps make stamping multiple cards and precision application so much easier.
No need for holding or taping down the card so it doesn't move while you rummage around trying to line up the stamp and acrylic block.
Works with all cling rubber stamps - red, grey or clear, old or new :)
These two little round things in the photos are strong magnets... these are to keep your card still while you stamp.
